Welcome to HODs Classroom.

Welcome to HODs Classroom, a multi-media resource, designed to inspire teachers to use the built environment across the curriculum, inside and outside the classroom. Produced by the Civic Trust as part of its HLF-supported Heritage Open Days education programme, it promotes the concept of civic pride and community awareness as an integral part of citizenship education. Using many places open for Heritage Open Days as examples, HODs Classroom activities and media enable pupils to engage with, to understand and to value their local environment.
